Zlaya Novacic was licensed as a full time Realtor in 2005 and has since been serving the needs of both buyers and sellers. He lived in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County until October 2011, and thereafter moved to Maple Lawn, Howard County with his family.
The true team spirit, sense of sharing and camaraderie are the reasons Zlaya joined The Smallwood Team in August of 2012. Within a week of joining The Smallwood Team, Zlaya negotiated his first contract.
Zlaya moved from Serbia (former Yugoslavia) to the States in 1992. He started his new life in New York City, where he lived for 5 years. He met his wife, Donna there and moved to Maryland in 1999, where they got married. Donna is a doctor at Baltimore -Washington Medical Center, in Glen Burnie. They have two wonderful children, Sofia and Stefan. They currently reside in Maple Lawn, Fulton and love it. Maple Lawn reminds Zlaya of Europe. Their children are very active in sports. Both Sofia and Stefan are active swimmers, and Stefan is a member of Reservoir High School Ice Hockey team.
Zlaya has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and taught physical education working in elementary and high schools for 8 years. As a young athlete, he played soccer and volleyball developing discipline and determination, which he later implemented in his real estate career.
As a result of his physical education background and his passion for fitness, Zlaya teaches strength classes at a local gym whenever his busy real estate schedule allows. He is also a lead singer in a Serbian band called Frula Show, and has performed at weddings and events, all over the States for the last 20 years.
Zlaya came to this country because he believed in the American dream of home ownership, and THAT’s why he is using all of his talents and effort to help his clients achieve this same dream.
In return, all he is asking for is A REFERRAL…
And remember… Z IS THE KEY!
